Equipment preparation and inspection
Before going to the site, be sure to conduct a comprehensive inspection and commissioning of the Electronic Transformer Calibrator. Ensure that all parts of the instrument are intact and the connecting cables are not damaged, broken or short-circuited. At the same time, prepare the corresponding protective accessories in advance, such as dust covers, waterproof covers, etc., according to the environmental conditions that may be encountered on site. Pre-install the latest software version and device driver in the storage medium of the calibrator to avoid the instrument not working properly due to software problems on site. In addition, carry sufficient spare batteries or ensure that there is a reliable external power supply device, because there may be unstable or unavailable power supply on site. For example, in some remote substation construction sites, there may be no suitable mains interface. At this time, the spare battery can ensure that the calibrator continues to run and complete the calibration work.
Site environment adaptation and layout
After arriving at the site, the first thing to do is to quickly assess the environmental conditions and choose a suitable location for the calibrator. Try to choose a dry, ventilated place away from strong electromagnetic interference sources (such as large transformers, high-voltage switches, etc.). If the site is dusty, the calibrator should be covered with a dust cover in time; if there is a risk of rain or moisture, be sure to use a waterproof cover for protection. When connecting the transformer and the calibrator, the cable direction should be planned reasonably to prevent the cable from being stepped on or pulled by other equipment or personnel. For long cables, cable clamps or cable ties can be used to fix them in a suitable position to prevent the cable from being entangled and affecting the measurement accuracy or causing the connection to become loose. For example, in the calibration work of an outdoor substation, the calibrator can be placed under a sheltered operating table, and the cables can be arranged in an orderly manner along the equipment bracket.
Measurement parameter setting and optimization
Accurately set the measurement parameters of the Electronic Transformer Calibrator according to the type, specification and actual operating parameters of the transformer on site. In a complex environment, there may be problems such as signal interference or attenuation, so the measurement parameters need to be properly optimized. For example, the signal sampling frequency can be appropriately increased to improve the measurement resolution, or the filter parameters can be adjusted to reduce the impact of interference signals on the measurement results. During the measurement process, pay close attention to the display data and status indicator of the calibrator. If abnormal data fluctuations are found or the indicator prompts an error message, adjust the measurement parameters or check the connection in time. For example, when there is high-frequency electromagnetic interference on site, the filter frequency band of the calibrator can be adjusted to enable it to accurately capture the real signal of the transformer.
Data recording and emergency handling
When performing calibration measurements, you should develop the habit of recording data in a timely and accurate manner. Due to the complex on-site environment, various emergencies may occur, resulting in measurement interruption or data loss. Therefore, a variety of data recording methods can be used, such as the calibrator's built-in storage function, external mobile storage devices, and manual recording of key data. At the same time, formulate an emergency response plan so that when the calibrator crashes, reports an error, or other abnormal situations occur, measures can be taken quickly to restore the normal operation of the instrument or protect the measured data. For example, if the calibrator crashes, first try to perform a soft restart according to the operating procedures. If it does not work, contact the technical support personnel and ensure that the recorded data is safely saved for subsequent analysis and processing to ensure that the calibration of the Electronic Transformer Calibrator can be completed smoothly and efficiently in a complex on-site environment.
